The comedian didn't plan for a career in comedy from the beginning. Eddie Brill originally intended to study math and science at MIT but when his stepfather's died when he was just a junior in high school made him come to the conclusion that he should pursue a more creative career and for that dedicating his life to stand up comedy and other types of humor.
When he was in college comic Eddie Brill started a Comedy Workshop along with Denis Leary, Chris Phillips and few others and in the same period he also started performing stand up routines.
