Bill Maher's video, Be More Cynical, was filmed a few moths before the 2000 US presidential elections and was aired live on HBO, from Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, in San Francisco. Bill Maher's video, Be More Cynical, was released on DVD, on April 5, 2005 and even though this DVD comes five years later, is still as funny and accurate as Bill Maher's 2007 video "The Decider".

Dave Chappelle's stand up comedy show Killin' Them Softly was recorded in 2000 at Lincoln Theatre in Washington DC, being one of the comedian's best HBO specials. Dave Chappelle's video Killin' Them Softly was released on DVD in July 2003.

Eddie Izzard's Circle is the comedian's sixth stand up comedy show, which tour had the opening in 1999 and was taped in 2000. Eddie Izzard's video was released later, on November 2002 and includes includes the comedian's performance in a French version with English subtitles. With English subtitles, it is a throughly enlightening look into Eddie Izzard's comedic mind as filtered by another language.
