"Believe: The Eddie Izzard Story" is the story behind the scene, the long way Eddie Izzard had to follow with determination, in order to be where he is today: selling out Madison Square Garden.

The British comedian Eddie Izzard was invited to perform in South Africa, to help raise funds for Nelson Mandela's charities. The event is organized by 46664 and Real Concerts and Eddie Izzard's stand up comedy shows will be performed on six consecutive nights, in three towns, between 2 - 7 February 2010.

Eddie Izzard joined over 20,000 people who attended the "Love Music! Hate Racism!" 2009 Festival at the Britannia Stadium on May, the 30th and the comedian urged the British people to boycott the BNP on the European Parliamentary Elections. Eddie Izzard stated that "The BNP talk about racial purity, a concept they learned from Hitler" and that the British National Party is a "racist party" and if British people believe in their country values, they will reject racism and a "politic of hate".

Eddie Izzard is playing a German general in the Valkyrie movie. The movie starring Tom Cruise as the leader of an organisation that plot to assassinate Hitler is not exactly the movie you would expect to see Eddie Izzard in. But the bristish comedian proved one more time that he is a brilliant actor who can wear different shoes which fit him perfectly every time.
